Unfortunately, Vesta's debut album was released at the same time as Janet Jackson's "Control". Both artists were on the A&M label and we all know who got the promotional dollars. Janet's album was more Dance/Pop-friendly. Which is really too bad. A lot of folks missed out on this magnificent debut from Vesta. Her voice was a force of nature!
