The following morning BtP asked him how it had been, spending his birthday in hospital. ‘I’ve never not had a good birthday, until now. All in all it’s a bit of a strange time, spending it like this.

The couple didn’t have any kids. Brooker provided a contribution to George Harrison’s albums Gone Troppo (1981), Somewhere in England (1981), and All Things Must Pass (1970). In 1979, Brooker embarked on a solo career and issued the album No More Fear of Flying. Brooker joined neighbor and friend Eric Clapton’s band that same year.

22 de feb. de 2022 · Ha pasado a la otra vida Gary Brooker, el líder de Procol Harum . Brooker fue el creador , el compositor y el cantante de uno de los mayores cláscos del siglo pasado, la inigualable “A Whiter Shade of Pale” de 1967. Una obra maestra eterna. Gary falleció pasado el sábado a los 76 años. La causa de la muerte fue un cáncer.
