Terry is singing in a deep voice, almost unrecognizable, and the band as a whole hasn't found that amazing upbeat hybrid of old-school ska and punk that made them the hit they were.

The album is a collection of demo recordings from 1978, when the band was still known as "The Automatics". They would shortly rename themselves "The Coventry Automatics" before eventually becoming "The Specials".
