María Estuardo, conocida en Escocia como Mary Queen of Scots, nació en 1542 en el Palacio de Linlithgow en Escocia y murió en 1587 en el Castillo de Fotheringhay en Inglaterra. No conoció a su padre, se casó tres veces, fue viuda dos y tuvo sólo un hijo: el primer rey de Gran Bretaña e Irlanda.
Al terminar, en 1979, estudió grabado en el Molino de Santo Domingo de la Ciudad de México. En el año 2000 recibió la beca del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (FONCA) la cual mantuvo hasta el 2006. En el 2012 nuevamente la volvió a recibir. 8 de jun. de 2018 · Mary Stuart was the only surviving child of King James V (1512–1542) of Scotland and his wife, Mary of Guise (1515–1560). Her two older brothers died before she was born, placing her in line to inherit James's throne. The king, bitterly disappointed at the birth of a daughter, died before the baby was a week old.
