Cheam’s reputation for sport remains extremely strong and all children regularly play in competitive matches for rugby, football, netball, hockey and cricket. The school has a strong drama and musical tradition with many extracurricular groups, including choirs, orchestra and jazz band.
Learning differences and difficulties are embraced at Cheam. Fostering children’s self esteem and happiness is our main aim. Our Learning Development Centre supports all children with a range of learning differences, enabling them to access the curriculum to ensure they reach their potential, to allow them to thrive.
The Prep section of the school comprises Years 3 - 8 and currently has 300 pupils. The curriculum has a contemporary, hands-on feel where children debate and explore subjects.
