John Richard Schlesinger ( Londra, 16 febbraio 1926 – Palm Springs, 25 luglio 2003) è stato un regista, attore e sceneggiatore britannico, vincitore del premio Oscar al miglior regista nel 1970 per il suo Un uomo da marciapiede .
John Schlesinger va retrouver du lustre sur le plan commercial avec son thriller Marathon Man (1976) qui lui permet de retrouver Dustin Hoffman. Le métrage, peu apprécié des critiques, cartonne au box-office mondial et dépasse le million de joggeurs en France.

John Charles Schlesinger is a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Family Division, in Florida. He served on the court from 2005 to 2020. Schlesinger retired in April 2020. Biography.
