When Dicky and Alice follow him out there, it's showdown time, and Charlene threatens to leave. But the movie is imprecise about how this plays out, and they're all at ringside at the end. Con un poco más de ambición "The Fighter" sería mucho más que uno de los trabajos más correctos del pasado 2010. Así, se queda en un estimable pero convencional drama que abarca no sólo el tema del boxeo sino además (de forma más superficial) el de las drogas, o el de la importancia de la familia, la superación de las metas y la búsqueda de los sueños.
