23 de ene. de 2009 · A prequel to the first two Underworld films, this fantasy explains the origins of the feud between the Vampires and the Lycans. Aided by his secret love, Sonja, courageous Lucian leads the Lycans in battle against brutal Vampire king Viktor. Determined to break the king's enslavement of his people, Lucian faces off against the Death Dealer army in a bid for Lycan independence.
As whole, this is a pretty respectable effort, although, as in most movies that span once central character &/or theme, not every movie in the cycle was created equally. My personal favs are Underworld, then Rise of the Lycans & then Blood Wars, but you be the judge.
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) Underworld: Rise of the Lycans focuses primarily on the origins of some characters and the events leading to the vampire–lycan war, depicted in the previous films. As shown in the film, the original werewolves were uncontrollable beasts, unable to retake human form once bitten.
