  5. Like that movie, Jack the Giant Killer is directed by Nathan Juran and stars Kerwin Mathews as the hero and Torin Thatcher as the villain. The effects, while not quite up to par with the work of Ray Harryhausen, are mostly well done for the time. The highlight is a fight between a two-headed giant and a sea monster during the climax of the movie.
