George Francis William Child Villiers, 10th Earl of Jersey (born 5 February 1976), known professionally as William Villiers, is a British nobleman and peer of the Villiers family. He is a former film producer, actor and writer. [1] He was the Director of Intellectual Property for HandMade Films.

  3. Villiers was born on 4 April 1808 in London, the son of George Child Villiers, 5th Earl of Jersey, by Lady Sarah Fane. He sat as Member of Parliament for Rochester from 1830 to 1831, for Minehead from 1831 from 1832, for Honiton from 1832 to 1835, for Weymouth & Melcome Regis from 1837 to 1842 and for Cirencester from 1844 to 1852.

  4. Since this time the connexions of the earls of Jersey with Child’s bank has been maintained. Victor Albert George Child-Villiers (b. 1845) succeeded his father George Augustus (1808-1859), 6th earl, who had only held the title for three weeks, as 7th earl of Jersey in 1859. This nobleman was governor of New South Wales from 1890 to 1893.

  6. George Bussy Villiers, 4th Earl of Jersey PC (9 June 1735 – 22 August 1805, Tunbridge Wells) was an English peer, the son of William Villiers, 3rd Earl of Jersey and Lady Anne Egerton. His maternal grandparents were Scroop Egerton, 1st Duke of Bridgewater and his first wife, Lady Elizabeth Churchill, a daughter of John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough and his wife Sarah Jennings .
