16 de may. de 2011 · Grecia was also called Grace de Briwere, and also Groecia de Bruere. Grecia de Briwere married Reginald de Braose, 5th Baron of Brecknock, son of William the Ogre of Abergavenny, 4th Lord of Bramber, 5th Baron Braose and Maud de St. Valéry, before 1204.
Reginald's defection roused the anger of Llywelyn, who attacked his lands of Brecon and Gower and supported the claim to the family lands of JOHN DE BRAOSE, the eldest of the four sons of Reginald's brother William, who had starved to death in 1210.
Brief Life History of Grace. When Grace de Briwere was born about 1186, in Bramber, Sussex, England, her father, William de Briwere, was 42 and her mother, Beatrice de Vaux, was 38. She had at least 2 sons and 2 daughters with Reginald de Braose. She died in 1251, in Windsor, Berkshire, England, at the age of 66, and was buried in England.
