Ragnvald Godfreyson (auch Rögnvaldr, Reginald, Ragnall, Ranald oder Ragnald) (* um 1160; † 14. April 1229 bei Tynwald) war ein König der Isle of Man. (de) Rǫgnvaldr Guðrøðarson ou Rögnvaldr Guðrøðarson en vieux norrois, (tué le 14 février 1229), roi de Man de 1187 à 1226/1229, connu par certains textes sous le nom de Reginald ou de Ragnald III de Man, est le fils de Godfred le Noir.
Unlikely to have been ruler of Mann and may have ruled in the mid, rather than late ninth century. [Note 6] Unknown [20] c 900–941. Possibly ruled by Uí Ímair dynasts Ragnall ua Ímair (d. 920/1) who ruled Mann, [25] Sitric Cáech (d. 927), Gofraid ua Ímair (d. 934) and Amlaíb mac Gofraid (d. 941) as Kings of Dublin.
Although Rǫgnvaldr was initially aided against Óláfr by Alan and his family, Gallovidian military support dramatically diminished over time. On 14 February 1229, the forces of Rǫgnvaldr and Óláfr clashed for the last time, and Rǫgnvaldr himself was slain. His body was conveyed to St Mary's Abbey, Furness and buried.
