Adele Goldberg, née le 7 juillet 1945 à Cleveland, est une informaticienne américaine [2], [3]. Elle a été l'une des co-développeuses du langage de programmation Smalltalk -80 et de divers concepts liés à la programmation orientée objet alors qu'elle était chercheuse au Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), dans les années 1970.

22 de nov. de 2023 · Adele Goldberg è stata presidente dell’Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) dal 1984 al 1986 e, insieme ad Alan Kay e Dan Ingalls, ha ricevuto l’ACM Software Systems Award nel 1987. Nel 1994 è stata nominata membro dell’Association for Computing Machinery e qualche anno dopo ha ricevuto il Lifetime Achievement Award di PC Magazine.
