Dr. Seddon made her first space flight aboard STS 51-D, the fourth flight of Discovery and the sixteenth Shuttle mission.

21 de mar. de 2023 · Margaret Rhea Seddon was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on November 8, 1947, to Edward (1920–2010) and Clayton Dann Seddon (1921–1976). Her interest in science sparked after the launch of the Soviet satellite Sputnik. Seddon attended and graduated from Central High School in Murfreesboro in 1965.
