This means that people are not required to come to court for more than one day of jury duty unless they are assigned to a courtroom for jury selection, or serve on a trial, more than once every 12 months. Typically, if you are not chosen for jury selection after one day at the courthouse then your service is done for at least one year.
You probably have questions regarding jury service. The court realizes that jury service may impose a hardship on citizens. However, the right to trial by jury is one of the principles guaranteed by the Constitution, and it is the duty of every citizen to serve when called. Every effort is made to assure that each juror has a positive experience.

Where to Report for Jury Duty. Report to the Duval County Courthouse, which is located at: Duval County Courthouse 501 West Adams St. Jacksonville, FL 32202. Please report to the Duval County Courthouse Jury Assembly Room, Room 2379 (follow signs to the second floor). Please feel free to bring reading material, laptops, tablets, etc for downtime.
