The Marriage Register at St. Margaret’s Westminster records December 1, 1655, as the day of their marriage, but Pepys and his wife always kept October 10 as their anniversary.

5 de ago. de 2019 · The disease took a fatal turn, and on the 10th of November, 1669, Elizabeth Pepys died at the early age of twenty-nine years, to the great grief of her husband. She died at their house in Crutched Friars, and was buried at St. Olave’s Church, Hart Street, where Pepys erected a monument to her memory.
