Alexis Bouvard (født 1767, død 1843) var en fransk astronom. Bouvard ble ansatt ved observatoriet i Paris i 1793 og var fra 1807 direktør sammen med François Arago . Bouvard was a penniless rural youth who, in 1785, made his way to Paris where he took mathematics lessons to be able to make a living as a calculator.
