27 de jun. de 2017 · Introduction. Toni Morrison (b. 1931) was born in Lorrain, Ohio, and christened Cloe Ardelia Wofford by parents whose family roots were in Georgia and Alabama. Educated at Howard University with a major in English and a minor in Classics, she completed her MA at Cornell University with a thesis on Faulkner and Virginia Woolf.
