This visit is devoted to the church of San Lorenzo, one of the oldest churches in Florence, dating back to 393 CE. Rebuilt several times over the centuries, it was ultimately redesigned by Filippo Brunelleschi who created for Cosimo de’Medici one of the first true Renaissance churches.
