22 de ago. de 1995 · Many German historians regard Emperor Frederick III (1831-1888) as a liberal sovereign who could have saved German history from its tragic course. Recent historians, however, have challenged the long-held view that liberalism's failure in 19th century Germany presaged Hitler's triumph, claiming that earlier scholars have overlooked liberalism's positive contributions to German history.
Following the unification of Germany in 1871 his father, then King of Prussia, became the German Emperor. Upon Wilhelm's death at the age of ninety on 9 March 1888, the thrones passed to Frederick, who had by then been German Crown Prince for seventeen years and Crown Prince of Prussia for twenty-seven years.
I think Frederick would dismiss Bismarck, like Wilhelm dismissed Bismarck in 1890, I think Frederick would do it in either 1889 or the year he ascended the throne in 1888. And then he would reform Germany drastically and his wife was british so yeah. Wilhelm II became 82, Wilhelm I became 91.
