Lisa Kerr. Lisa Kerr is a British business leader. [1] After a career in commercial radio, in 2016 she was appointed principal of Gordonstoun. [2] She is the first female principal in the school’s history. [3] Kerr is also a Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Moray. [4]

Gordonstoun’s founder, Kurt Hahn, was keen to extend his educational ethos to the local community and not just those in the School. He therefore set up the Moray Badge (the precursor to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award) which started at Gordonstoun and Elgin Academy in 1936 and then spread to other schools in Moray.
