6 de nov. de 2020 · De este encuentro, Macke desarrolló un exuberante colorismo que aplicó a todas sus obras, desde retratos a sus famosos y valorados escaparates. Retrato de su esposa con sombrero. 1909 Sus obras relacionadas con Escaparates de Tiendas son consideradas una interpretación personal de las Ventanas de Delaunay, pero combinadas con las imágenes de estilo futurista que vio en sus viajes a Italia.
Sus primeras creaciones fueron de estilo paisajista, pero en su viaje a París en 1903 descubre el impresionismo y, sobre todo, la obra de Vincent Van Gogh y Paul Gaugin, por cuyas obras sentía especial atracción. En 1910, hizo amistad con los pintores August Macke y Wassily Kandinsky, con quienes fundó el movimiento artístico Der Blaue Reiter.
August Robert Ludwig Macke was a German Expressionist painter. He was one of the leading members of the German Expressionist group Der Blaue Reiter. He lived during a particularly innovative time for German art: he saw the development of the main German Expressionist movements as well as the arrival of the successive avant-garde movements which were forming in the rest of Europe.
