  5. 18 de feb. de 2006 · IMHO, to 'walk the line' means to behave in a way that doesn't put you on one side or the other of a dispute or an issue, (being careful) not to take sides, to remain neutral, in between. That is one definition of the phrase, but I believe Johnny Cash meant it as "living up to expectations," although I can't be sure.
