1 de ago. de 2019 · The 2018 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon shows fully ripe aromas, vibrant and effusive, of blackberries on the vine, dusty cherries, and a sense of fresh earth. On the palate the wine broadens to express its Rutherford character with bright red and blue fruits as well as darker tones of mocha and vanilla.

With winter 2015 we saw a very welcome end to our four-year drought, and the vineyards rejoiced. Although the crop was, overall, much smaller than several prior years, the quality was outstanding, as evidenced in this latest release of Scarecrow. The wine offers very showy aromas of black cherry, warm raspberries and a hint of warm toasty vanilla, with undertones of sweet earth and tobacco.
