Briefly, William John Clifton Haley was born on July 6, 1925 in the Detroit suburb of Highland Park. His father, Bill Sr., was a transplanted Kentuckian and his mother, Maude, was British. Bill Sr. moved the family to Boothwyn, Pennsylvania during the Depression and kept his head above water by working in the shipyards.
In Latin America there was no Hank Ballard and there was no Chubby Checker there was just Bill Haley Y Sus Cometas and by the early 60s Bill Haley became another kind of King, the King of the Twist. Features the first big singles, 'Twist Espanol' and 'Florida Twist' both of which became enormous hits and 'Florida Twist' was the biggest selling single in Mexican history.

In a general sense, the music on the six CD's changes progressively from the first one until the last because Haley tries diferent kinds of styles and all this is obvious because the decade starts with some 50's influence and ends with the "Rock and Roll Revivals".
