22 de feb. de 2022 · Tintorera was one of the better of these Jaws imitators, although works less effectively as the killer shark film it aspires to be. More than half of the film seems to be about Hugo Stiglitz, joined in later scenes by Andres Garcia, and his enjoyment of the beach party lifestyle and dalliance with various of the women who hang out there.

Tintorera is the most laid back, plotless movie about a killer shark possible. The killer shark occasionally attacks but the majority of the film is spent aimlessly following Hugo Stiglitz and Andres Garcia as they hunt sharks and women on the beaches of Mexico.
Stiglitz ha sido galardonado a lo largo de su carrera con diversos premios y reconocimientos. En 1973, recibió el premio Ariel a Mejor Actor por su destacada interpretación en la película «Tintorera».
