Home » Library Home » Toshio Saeki Library. Toshio Saeki Biography. Toshio Saeki was born in 1945 in Miyazaki prefecture (south-eastern Japan). At 4 years of age his family went to Osaka to live. He learned how to draw during his younger years and after he finished college, worked in advertising design. In 1969, he settled in Tokyo.
Toshio Saeki (1945 - 2019) was a Japanese artist of mainly erotic art. His works combine classic Japanese imagery in very bizarre , violent and sexual settings. One of his typical illustrations finds inspiration in Edogawa Rampo ’s " The Human Chair " (1925).
