The marvellous Benenden Theatre comprises a 300-seat main auditorium with flexible staging that can be moved into several different configurations and an Orchestra Pit is also opened for musical productions. The Theatre is the perfect size to enjoy a wonderful experience at close quarters, ensuring a great view from every seat.
Prior to joining Benenden Julie was the Bursar and Clerk to the Governors at Colfe’s School in London for 10 years. Julie is also a Director of the newly formed Independent Schools’ Mutual. Julie joined Benenden in 2020 as Director of Finance and Operations which includes responsibility for the support functions within the School.

HRH The Princess Royal today joined students, staff, parents, alumnae and guests for a special service at Canterbury Cathedral to mark the Centenary of Benenden School. The Princess attended Benenden in the 1960s and holds the titles of President of the Benenden Society and Founders’ Patron.
