Hewitt and Prinze returned for a sequel in 1998, with a third film consisting of an entirely new cast being released in 2006.

Written by Robinson & Sam Lansky, off a script by Leah McKendrick, the film's plot is under wraps for now, but stars Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt are expected to return.

17 de may. de 2024 · “I Know What You Did Last Summer” is a big break for Robinson, whose last two movies, 2022’s “Do Revenge” and 2019’s “Someone Great,” were both for Netflix. Robinson also has writing credits on “ Unpregnant ” and “ Thor: Love & Thunder ,” but helming a remake that’s already an adaptation of a 1973 novel shouldn’t be too much trouble for her to handle.
