10 de may. de 2024 · A school in Windsor has been named amongst the best in the country as it is shortlisted for two awards. It comes as The best schools and teachers across the country have been shortlisted in this year’s Tes Schools Awards 2024. St George’s School Windsor Castle has been recognised twice amongst other top-performing schools in the country.
20 de may. de 2024 · A small cost of roughly £10.50 covers your 45-minute journey from London to Windsor. There are a couple of trains that run every hour from London Paddington. While this is the quickest route, it isn’t direct, and you’ll need to change at Slough. Alternatively, you can get a direct train from London Waterloo, which runs every 30 minutes.

The pageantry of the changing of the guard at Windsor Castle still happens. Windsor also has access to the 5,000 acres of Windsor Great Park with its sweeping historic parkland, award winning gardens, ancient woodland and forest trails.

9 de may. de 2024 · St George’s Chapel (which is one of the highlights of Windsor Castle) is actually not really open on Sundays though there is a service here at 5.15 pm which you can attend. This, of course, means you’re either going to have to plan to be here in the afternoon or spend a really long day here.
