  4. 19 de may. de 2024 · Nottingham (New Basford) Cemetery contains 44 scattered burials of the First World War and 3 from the Second World War. The CWGC tour will visit the graves of two local men who took part in the famous Royal Naval raid on Zeebrugge in 1918, both men died of wounds and were included in the ballot for a Victoria Cross, which will be explained during the tour.

  6. 11 de may. de 2024 · There was also a military hospital in the town. A war graves plot contains 74 of the 111 Second World War burials within Falmouth Cemetery, the rest are scattered. Lying apart at the southernmost tip of the plot are five graves containing the remains of 27 unidentified sailors who died in the bombing of H.M.S. "Registan" on 26 May 1941.
