  6. But I do think Edward II would continue to be indiscreet and the English lords still wouldn’t like it. And it’s hard to imagine Scotland putting up with Edward II’s shit anymore than England. I’d imagine it would end with Scotland in revolt. I don’t think it would lead to any permanent union. I think Edward’s problem was always Edward.
