That’s Mary and Charles Brandon and they had a daughter Frances and then Katherine was Frances’s daughter. So she would have been Henry VIII’s great-niece, I suppose.

Katherine taught Mary Spanish in preparation for the latter's marriage to Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor and King of Spain (Charles later pulled out of the marriage, infuriating Henry).
