Benedetta Cappa, born in 1897, of Piedmontese origins, entered Giacomo Balla's studio in 1919, where she experimented with different forms of art: from painting, to literature, to scenography, in line with the versatility of Futurism. The young artist met Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, founder of the Futurist Movement, in 1918.

Benedetta Cappa, chiamata anche Beny, nasce a Roma il 14 agosto del 1897. Moglie di Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, viene ricordata come esponente del Futurismo. Fu allieva del grandissimo pittore Giacomo Balla.

Artista e scrittrice sperimentale, che si appropriò della retorica e delle immagini futuriste, per creare una voce unica per se stessa, nonostante le difficoltà insite in questo movimento prettamente maschile.
