    Wrekin College is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school. There are currently over 500 pupils enrolled, of which approximately one fifth are boarders. The Music Department is also proud to have been shortlisted for the Performing Arts School of the Year Award (Music and Drama) in 2019, 2020 and 2022. Our Jazz Band were also crowned Best School Jazz Band at the Great North Jazz Band Festival in 2024.
