Item description from the seller. Description: 'Go Find The Moon: The Audition Tape' by singer-songwriter Laura Nyro features her earliest songs in their most stripped-back and raw form. Among the songs included is 'And When I Die' which Nyro never released but was a US no.2 hit for 'Blood, Sweat & Tears' in 1969.
Nyro was 18 at the time, and had been writing songs for about a year but had yet to venture into music professionally. Go Find the Moon: The Audition Tape is the audio documentation from that meeting, capturing the flashes of Nyro 's songwriting brilliance that were apparent even in the nascent stages of her development.
