The Mason Gross keyboard program is designed to provide the highest level of training to young artists and to help them develop the skills needed for a variety of careers in music. The undergraduate curriculum centers on individual private lessons, a rigorous music theory and ear training sequence, as well as a variety of courses in music history and ethnomusicology.

Our Concert Band Intensive and Summer Jazz Institute both feature rigorous, collegiate-level experiences led by Mason Gross School of the Arts faculty and other renowned musicians. Students engage in daily rehearsals, masterclasses, and special events with highly-respected, award-winning camp faculty.
The beloved tale of star-crossed lovers is reimagined with consideration of our modern times and influences. Drawing from the complete canon, modern music, and poetry, the classic story remains relevant to audiences today.
