Biography. Born on January 30, 1919 in Los Angeles, California, Cole Weston was the fourth and youngest son of photographer, Edward Weston. In 1935, Cole’s older brother and esteemed photographer, Brett Weston, gave him a 4×5 Autograflex as his first camera. Cole graduated with a degree in theater arts from the Cornish School in Seattle in 1937.
