Henri Louis eventually became the Grand Chamberlain of France. The couple had five children. Upon the death of his father in 1788, the Duke inherited the title of Prince de Guéméné. Afterwards, Victoire was known at court as Madame de Guéméné. At the death of her father, her spouse became heir to the title Prince de Soubise.

Charles Alain, Prince Of Guéméné Charles Alain de Rohan (Charles Alain Gabriel; 18 January 1764 – 24 April 1836) was a French nobleman and Prince of Guéméné. He died without any surviving descendants as his daughter died without children. Biography Born on 18 January 1764 at the Palace of Versailles, he was baptised the same day.
Born Charles de Rohan, his father was prince de Guéméné and ranked as one of the princes étrangers at the French court, by virtue of the House of Rohans claimed descent from the Dukes of Brittany. His mother was Jeanne Armande de Schomberg. She was a daughter of Henri de Schomberg who was a Marshal of France. He was the eldest of four children.
