Alfred Rupert Sheldrake (born 28 June 1942) is an English author and parapsychology researcher. He proposed the concept of morphic resonance, [2] [3] a conjecture that lacks mainstream acceptance and has been widely criticized as pseudoscience .
Rupert has since 2008 also worked with undergraduate students and specialises in the formation and development of their academic and study skills. He has close ties in this regard with several Cambridge colleges and departments and for them runs a wide range of subject-based workshops in essay writing and study skills as well as supervising students on an individual basis.
