3 de may. de 2018 · Prince Eduard Georg Wilhelm was born in Dessau, Duchy of Anhalt, now in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, on April 18, 1861, the third son and fourth child of Friedrich I, Duke of Anhalt and Princess Antoinette of Saxe-Altenburg. He had five siblings: Leopold, Hereditary Prince of Anhalt (1855-1886) – married Princess Elisabeth of Hesse-Kassel.
Her uncle Ernst I was succeeded as ruling Duke of Saxe-Altenburg by her brother Ernst II, Duke of Saxe-Altenburg. Louise Charlotte died in Altenburg in 1953, at the age of 79. Marriage and issue. She married Prince Eduard of Anhalt, a younger son of Frederick I, Duke of Anhalt, in Altenburg on 6 February 1895.
