Martín Perfecto de Cos (1800-1854) fou un militar mexicà nascut a Veracruz. Arribà a assolit el grau de general i participà en diferents conflictes com la Revolució texana i la Intervenció nord-americana a Mèxic. Liderà l'atac mexicà a la famosa Batalla d'El Álamo, que acabà amb victòria mexicana.

Days earlier, General Martín Perfecto de Cos, brother-in-law of the Mexican president, had arrived in Bexar to take command of all the Mexican forces in Texas. By October 20 the Texians—led by Stephen F. Austin , the first empresario to bring English-speaking settlers to Texas [Note 1] —had reached Salado Creek and initiated a siege of Béxar .
Cos broke the pledge when he returned in March of 1836 to command a column in the attack on the Alamo. The Surrender After the defeat of the Mexican Army at San Antonio de Béxar, most of the Texians returned home, but Santa Anna feared they would mount another offensive against his government and, in late February, intent on recapturing the mission, he arrived with between 1,500 and 1,800 men.
Martín Perfecto de Cos (1800 - 1854) [1] was a 19th-century Mexican general. He was born in Veracruz in 1757, the son of an attorney. [2] He became an army cadet at the age of 20. [3] He was married to Lucinda López de Santa Anna, sister of Antonio López de Santa Anna.
Los texanos derrotaron a las tropas mexicanas que ya se encontraban en Texas.
