Archibald Douglas, 5th Earl of Angus (1449 – 1513) Angus was born about 1449 at Tantallon Castle and succeeded his father, George the 4th earl, in 1462 or 1463. In 1514, Margaret married Archibald Douglas, 6th Earl of Angus. Margaret and Douglas were grandparents of Lord Darnley, the second husband of Mary, Queen of Scots.
