"Autumn to Spring" sounded better than "greatest hits" and I figure the execs thought that sneaky ploy might trick some into thinking this was a new recording so, voila, this collection that relied heavily on their first album's material (6 out of the 9 cuts) taped between Fall '67 and Spring '68 showed up in the platter bins.
This is a compilation of material recorded between Autumn 1967 and Spring 1968 at Olympic Studios in Barnes, London. All of this material except for track B1 was previously released at the time of issue. A2 is listed as "Flower King Of The Flies" on the label and as "Flower King Of Flies" on the back cover
