Stoney & Meatloaf was a duet of singer Meat Loaf and Stoney (Shaun Murphy). They released one self-titled album in 1971. Meat Loaf and Murphy had met previously in the Detroit music scene, and then performed with the Detroit cast of Hair.

Stoney and Meatloaf is a professionally entertaining album from two stage-trained entertainers. Note: Some of these tracks later turned up on Motown various artists compilations. "(I'd Love To Be) As Heavy As Jesus" was included on a 1995 CD called The Key To The Kingdom .
