Das Institut wurde 1969 von Lee Strasberg gegründet, dem damaligen Leiter des Actors Studio in New York. Dem vorausgegangen war die Eröffnung des Actors Studio West. Es besteht noch heute. In addition to Saturday and After-School classes during the traditional school year, the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute offers summer day camps and intensives for students in grades 2-12. Our Young Actors summer programs are designed to encompass students at all levels and provide foundational training in Lee Strasberg’s world renowned Method Acting technique.
