    I consider that Symphony number 5 must be RVW's finest work. The tunes are there, but their beauty, as allways, is touched with sadness and the music stands repeated hearing. The last movement is wonderful, and it carries the listner forward to a sublime ending. Dona Nobis Pacem is not so 'accessible'.
