There's much more to Labi Siffre than a songwriter and singer. Over the years I've grown to love his music, his lyrics have always inspired me even though I may not share or even understand his personal angst. Labi is clearly a complex (and at times angry) man and his poetry in recent years goes some to explaining it.

10 de abr. de 2018 · “(Something Inside) So Strong” is a protest song by renowned British singer and songwriter Labi Siffre. The lyrics of the song, which were written in 1984, were inspired by a very unpleasant clip from a documentary on Apartheid South Africa that Siffre watched on television.
