24 de nov. de 2015 · The Lost Tudor Princess. beautifully written book on Margaret Douglas Countess of Lennox I thoroughly enjoyed this book on Margaret Douglas by Alison Weir, she brought Margaret Douglas to life and was a remarkable lady of Royal importance in her own right, with a good claim to the English Crown and a more distant one to the Scottish Crown .

Some thought Margaret Douglas, Countess of Lennox, should be queen of England. She ranked high at the court of her uncle, Henry VIII, and was lady of honour to five of his wives. Beautiful and tempestuous, she created scandal - twice - by falling in love with unsuitable men. Throughout her life her dynastic ties to two crowns proved hazardous.
