7 de may. de 2017 · Mary of Modena or Maria Beatrice d’Este was born on 5 October 1658 as the daughter of Alfonso IV, Duke of Modena, and his wife, Laura Martinozzi. Her younger brother succeeded to the duchy upon their father’s death in 1662. He was just two, Mary just four. She received an excellent education and spoke French and Italian fluently.

3 de feb. de 2018 · Laura Margherita Mazzarini, daughter of Pietro Mazzarini and his wife, Ortensia Bufalini, was born in 1608. On 9 July 1634 she was married to Count Girolamo Martinozzi and bore him two daughters. Laura's brother was Cardinal Mazarin, powerful minister of Louis XIV of France, who in 1647 summoned Laura and her daughters to France. Sources
